How to request deletion

1. In the app: Open drawer menu → Settings → Danger zone → Delete account (or request deletion), then confirm.
2. Or email: info@duedle.com from the email on your Duedle account with subject “Delete my Duedle account”.

Delete a child's data

Parents can delete a child's data without closing their own account.

In-app: Go to Child Profile → Delete child. This removes the child profile, all tasks, and all study logs linked to that child. This action can't be undone.

We process the deletion immediately; residual data in backups is purged on our normal 30-day backup cycle.

What we delete

• Account profile: name and email.
• Child profiles and homework/task data.
• Activity/log history.
• Auth tokens and app settings.

What may be retained (and why)

• Transaction/receipts and minimal audit records kept up to 7 years to comply with tax/legal requirements.
• Server backups are purged on a rolling 30-day schedule; your data is inaccessible in backups and removed when those backups expire.

Timing

• We process requests within 7 days; legal/audit retention follows the schedule above.
• If you used the in-app flow, deletion is immediate; retained records follow the policy above.
