Duedle is a task and schedule app for families. This policy describes how we handle your information when you use the Duedle mobile app.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: email address and authentication tokens created when you sign in.
• Child and task data: child profiles you create, tasks, schedules, and related notes.
• Device data: basic device and app information for security, diagnostics, and analytics (e.g., app version, device model, OS).
• Camera use: the camera is used only to scan QR codes to link or pair child accounts; the app does not capture, store, or upload photos or videos.

3. How we use information

• Provide the service: create and manage accounts, tasks, and child profiles; allow QR pairing and sign-in.
• Security and integrity: authenticate users, prevent fraud or misuse.
• Support and improvements: troubleshoot issues, improve features, and analyze aggregate usage.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the app (e.g., hosting, analytics) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security.

5. Data retention

We retain your information while your account is active and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed for the purposes above or required by law.

6. Your choices

• Permissions: you can disable camera access in your device settings; QR code pairing will not work without it.
• Account data: you can delete your account in the app (Settings -> Danger zone -> Delete account) or request deletion by contacting us. See our delete-account instructions.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Children’s privacy

Duedle is used by parents/guardians to manage child tasks. If you believe a child has provided personal information without consent, contact us to remove it.

9. International transfers

If data is processed outside your country, we apply safeguards consistent with applicable law.
